Social Housing in the UK
Run Services are primarily a social housing contractor. We have worked on a number of occupied house schemes, primarily around the Greater Manchester area. Some examples of the schemes that we have worked on include a 113 house external envelope upgrade in North Manchester, close to Manchester City’s stadium. On this particular scheme, we provided new rainwater goods, fascias and soffit’s, stripped all of the paint from the brickwork, brick cleaned, pointed, tiled steps, new flagging, garden walls and railings to all properties within the three streets. We have also completed a 46 house scheme in Moston, North Manchester, bringing these properties up to Decent Home standards.
We have capabilities to manage and maintain void properties, and also deliver pre condition surveys and structural reports.
Run Services as a company has employed house building development professionals within the company to take us on to the next level, which for a company like ours is to develop, build and deliver the next wave of social housing. We are currently working with many housing associations, aiming to deliver cost effective solutions to their own land-banks, or to identify suitable land that we would partner develop with the housing association, working on core designs and with the housing associations design brief in mind.
