Run in The Community

Here at Run Services, we have a company ethos to give something back to the local communities in which we have worked in. This is through a number of different ways. These include working with the community to help regenerate areas such as parks, clean rubbish from abandonded areas and bring employment opportunities to socially disadvantaged groups.

As a Local Employment Partner (LEP), we work with Job Centre Plus and Working Links, to bring opportunities of work to people from socially disadvantaged groups who previously may not have been able to find work.

Helping Organisations

As part of our, working in the community scheme, we provide help & sponsorship to local organisations that will benefit the local community. We welcome applications for sponsorship from Run Services, however we will only help organisations that guarantee their project will help the local community. Some of the projects that we have helped fund include:

  • The CELLS Project - This project will give local children an insight of what it is like to be in prison, this will hopefully deter local children from crime.
  • Paramount Football Club - This was a sponsorship deal that helped fund kits and travel for compeitions abroad.
  • Paramount JFC - League Winners

Run Services are proud to announce that they sponsor a team that has recently been named as champions in their respective league. Playing in the Halewood Under 14's League, Paramount JFC are pleased to announce that they have been crowned league champions.

Not only are they league champions but they managed to finish the season with a spectacular unbeaten campaign in which they played 24, won 22 and drew only 2. The team are really excited about the prospect of next season however there is still one matter to be decided. They are to play in the Cup final this Sunday 16th of May where they will be looking to complete an impressive double.

Congratulations goes out from Run Services to all of the players

  • Amy Leigh Barnes Foundation - This helped to fund a Biker Chick Calender that is to raise money to help increase awareness of domestic violence. Amy Leigh was a mum who was stabbed to death by her boyfriend.
  • Community Repaint Schemes - Working with Dulux and Think Greener, we will be recycling discarded, near empty paint cans. For more information, please read the Paint Recycling Page

We enjoy working within the local community, it helps raise the hopes and expectations of those living in socially disadvantaged areas. Our communal regeneration has been described as a "breath of fresh air" and it is comments like this that makes our community work very rewarding. Please see testimonial here from Sunflowers where we helped clear a large amount of waste that was destroying the look of the area.
